It is the same shot. One in color. One in black and white.
I can't decide which treatment I like better (your thoughts?), but this shot is one of my favorite's of all time.

It was our last pre-first-day-of-school trip to the lake (despite the fact that we can walk to it) because #1 and #3 (and inevitably #2) are sick.
Summer colds are the most ridiculous thing ever.
They are just so unnatural.
But, on the bright side, at least #1 should be all healthy as an ox, fit as a fiddle, and raring to go to school come Monday.
Oh, joy.

I love the B/W. I also think #3 would stand out a little more if you added a smidge more contrast. (Everyone's a critic, right?)
I love both - I think maybe (and keep in mind that I have no idea WTH I'm talking about) the B/W is more artistic, but the color draws me in more. But that's just the voice of a common "I don't know art, but I know what I like" type person.

awww i love the black and white! but they are both adorable!
It IS amazing. I'm in the minority here, but I like the color one best. The color one is so warm.......and doesn't need to be make black and white like so many photos with off-color. I do like the b and w a ton. BUT, I love the color better. :)
I love the black and white with just the bucket in color! I recently learned how to hand color like that and am having so much fun playing around with it!

I liked picture number 1 best. But, honestly, photography is very subjective!
