Anyone remember this post?
Spooning?
Yeah, didn't think so.
Because three months ago I didn't have many followers, or commenters, or people who accidentally happened by my blog from another blog on account of another blog that is actually good.
It was pretty much a place for me. And Mimi. And BFF. That's it.
But, nowadays, people surprisingly come by on a regular basis to tell me what they think about my writing, and my pictures, and, well, me.
It's not always nice, but it mostly is.
So, thanks, you know, for making me feel a little special.
Obviously, I don't get to feel special all that much these days because I'm busy making other people feel all special every day.
But, that's my job.
I'm supposed to be the scapegoat for when people lose their homework, forget to do their chores, or arrive to practice late.
I am the one who is "ruining" their lives because I "hate" them so much and want them "dead" or "lost in the forest".
And, I am to blame for their latest injuries, illnesses, and heartaches since I am a sabotaging, careless, filthy mother who doesn't clean their rooms, or pick up their toys, or arrange play dates enough for them.
Shame on me.
So, to thank you readers for your kindness, your willingness to make me feel good despite all of the aforementioned shortcomings, I've decided (in an altruistic moment meant solely to make you happy and not at all to overcome my current writer's block) to update some of my older posts; the ones most of you have no idea even existed.
Feel free to comment on the old ones, and/or the new ones, and/or neither (that last bit is for those random evil people who can think of nothing nice to say, and feel it is their duty to suck up every happy person's joy by being mean, ugly, and all around sucky. Boo mean people.).
So here you have it, #3 and his new found ability: actually getting some morsels of food from a plate to his mouth without use of hands (okay, maybe a little use of hands).
So, maybe he was cheating in that last one, but much better, no?
What a difference 3 months makes!

Definitely a huge difference!
It's a good thing you have us and we have you so that we know we aren't the only moms that are mean to their kids. :) he he.
Adorable, he is so cute!
Haha! I was thinking of a totally different kind of spooning! ;) I love when kids pick up new skills. It's awesome!
Well, the last way is just so much more efficient! :)
Well I'm just glad after reading the comments that I wasn't the only who's mind went to a totally different kind of spooning.
Yeah, I'm totally in the "you-three-months-ago" boat ... both with the scantily-followed blog AND the spooning! In fact, as I type this, my little man is experimenting with a fork and an omelet.
... To the benefit of the dog, who I'm sure secretly hopes he'll NEVER learn to use utensils properly. :)
I t really does make a huge difference! What a fun idea to update your posts. I just want to kiss his cheeks. He's a CUTIE!
Hmm...I'm confused. Are you telling me that the last photo is considered cheating when eating?
Yikes! That is how I eat most of my meals. Maybe if I try really hard for three months, I could make some improvements too? :)

each new skill a child learns is a miracle in itself! Good for you for capturing THIS one!
What a cupcake he is. Love how he figured out a better way in the last photo.
He wasn't cheating. He was drinking the juice. That is totally not cheating.
I just had to come and tell you that although I live in San Francisco now, I grew up in LA. So technically we hail from the same place. Who knew?
dude you were commenting my blog at the same time i was so i went back and updated my comment when i saw yours! lol
AWESOME to meet you yesterday- i LOVE YOUR MOM, dude!!! and your son was adorable EVEN while throwing goldfish! :)

ahh....to dream!
Everyone is being SO nice today! Thanks a bunch, you guys are AWESOME. And, when I make it big, I won't go all Jon & Kate on you. I'll be totally the same just skinnier with a better car and clearer skin.
Spoons are overrated, but I know you are glad that he is becoming more independent. When I look at my niece and nephew, it seems like they are changing daily. In 3 months they will be brand new kids.
haha, thats a good thing right? cause I eat like that. That is normal? right! right.....? someone......?
Hey you sound just like me....I'm blamed for everything that goes wrong in my little mans little world. Anything that goes right is credited to hubby usually which is so not fair since he's the one who's out working all the time not being the taxi driver/pediatrician/teacher/etc etc etc
Your little man eatting is great, he's learned a lot in the past few months
CONGRATS on being the FB. OMG I knew by the title that this would be good, but this is GREAT. You are hilarious and your boys are just like my son, in so many ways.
I'm joining your site as a member and linking it to my fav blogs. Feel free to stop by my blog. I have a great piece about a website for kids featured on it that my son's been using.
Take care SITS-ah
I am in the same boat with the 3 months ago....no wait....I'm still in the boat...I thought I felt it rock a little when you jumped out to be big and famous...with your feature on SITS and all! LOL
I do so love reading your blog though, and the pics crack me up! My mom laughs that you call yourself Dumb Mom too, because as a joke when we were young we called her dummy mom!
Awww, what a cutie!
Okay, I admit. My mind WENT THERE with the spooning. I guess I am a little off...
cute kids for sure!
