(Baby) Pool Partying
They LOVE this thing!
Best part... I only put like two inches of water in it.
Call me lazy, but it takes forever to bucket fill the thing and it weighs like 5000 pounds when it's full of water, so we stick with two inches, two and a half, tops.
But, seriously, it's all they need because they all squeeze into that pool (along with friends even) and splish, and splash for at least 45 minutes.
It's a bliss filled 45 minutes for me as I sit there and peruse my BHG and generally watch that no one drowns, or gets concussed (they get a little rowdy at times).
Hopefully, I'll win a huge canvas print of this shot from UPrinting (you know, UPrinting.com is a leading online provider of business cards, color brochures and mailing postcards.) and I'll be able to have some much needed decor for my largely bare walls.
Wish me luck:)
And, as you all know, we lost a great entertainer yesterday and the news touched me in an unexpected way (guess this is my emotional week, not sure what was up with the waterworks). So, enjoy the link to my dudes' favorite track if you are missing Michael as much as I am.

Oh how I long for the days of the baby pool! I now have to worry that they are gonna drown themselves in 6 feet. Lounging by the pool? Notsomuch.
My MJ fav is Dirty Diana by the way. Loved it!
My favorite MJ song is P.Y.T (Pretty Young Thing). He wrote it for me.
I have to go out and buy a new baby pool. Thriller will always be my fav!
Well aren[t you people in climates that actually get warm enough to splash lucky? SF stays 60s all summer long. Sigh. I was in love with MJ in high school. In. Love.
I keep meaning to get one of these pools, but there has been so much rain here that each time, my plans get foiled.
And, man oh man, the news has hot me pretty hard too. What a performer...
That looks like so much fun...for kids! I cannon get one of those. It is going to kill my lawn.
i looooove the kiddie pools! my kids are all about the slip and slide... i'm so bummed about MJ, seriously, it's depressing...
I have a little blow up pool we will break out from the garage for the boys this weekend...how is it that every single fly, bug, bee, and mosquito seem to find their way into our kiddie pool?
***Stoping by from SITS***
LOL! I'm sure if they get hold of a leaky faucet, you'll get the same reaction! Why bother with 5000 pounds?! ;-)
You know what also is fun when they're this age? When you go to the beach, bring the baby pool along. You can put it right on the sand under an umbrella, and the kids can have their very own ocean!
We spent the last two days in our baby pool too. I tried to convince my girls that it's more fun than the real pool we have that pesky membership at. They don't believe me, and it's back to the pool we go. Why does everything start out as a good idea?
The hubs is dying to buy one of those things. I think it's less for the bambino and more so he can sit and drink a beer in it. He's a class act.
oh man I need to clean our baby pool. thanks for the inspiration!
We have the same pool. And I heart it! For an hour or so, they splish while I read or blog or whatever. It's so cool.
we got got one this year and we are loving ours too
lol, I also have to fill it by bucket so ours isnt that full either.
He’s so so cute sticking his tongue out! And yeah, it doesn’t matter if the pool’s half full, for as long as there’s water to play with, it’s already like heaven for kids!
