I think everyone needs one.
At Casa de Dummies, we all (okay, maybe not Hubby, but the rest of us) share a trademark: our hair.
It's a legacy passed on through generations.
And, for as long as I can remember its been both a gift and a curse.
Gift...
Curse...
And, it didn't just affect me.
My brother suffered similarly.
Gift...
Curse...
Although, in defense of his hair, I have to admit that the curse seems to more accurately be on his fashion sense than his hair style. Seriously, Bro, you look like you were dressed by a goat.
Luckily, my dudes seem to spend more time with gift hair than with curse hair.
But, sadly, even they have their days.
But, according to various undersexed females (myself included), #3's untamed locks are sexy (not that a baby could actually even be sexy, just thinking for the future when, despite my best efforts, being sexy is actually his daily goal). At, least it works for this guy...

Oh yeah - untamed is good. But not in a creepy way...
Happy Wednesday SITSta. I totally understand the hair curse thing. My daughter got a terrible mix of my baby fine hair and her dads wavy super thick hair. SO she has a wavy mop of tons and tons of super fine hair. Ughh. When she cut it all off a few months back and sent it to Locks of Love they were thrilled to have so much hair. Her ponytail measured over an inch across.
I'd much rather look at the sweet baby faces than the last dude with the 'do'.
My W W is posted...WEATHER or not here I come Stop by for a visit if you can. Happy day to you.
I'm going to say that your kids have untamed hair in a delightful way. But Robert, comb that mess!
Cheers to you for working in Twilight every chance you get :0)

Great pictures. I had the hair curse in middle school after a perm gone wrong. The curse has since been lifted. Your son's hair is gorgeous. I wish I had naturally wavy/curly locks. Happy WW and take care.

Oh, girl? I just wrangled my 6th grade school pictures from my Dad... a few days before that picture was taken, my Dad put a jherri curl in my hair to help me out because my mom was in the hospital and I didn't know how to do my own hair just yet. And, well, Michael Jackson and everyone else on the planet had one, so why not?
Yeah.
Talk about cursed hair!
I so completly know what you mean... 4 kids The oldes is a boy with supper curly hair to the point he buz cuts it like his dad. oldest daughter straight as an arrow and baby fine, middle girl supper thick 1/2 curly 1/2 straight wierd... baby only 3 so hoping she grows out of it but super baby fine almost bald with long strands of hair here and there LOL.
My hair is a curse too - and my kids' hair is just plain weird. I SO wish I could post a pic here of my oldest son when he was a baby ... his hair literally stood STRAIGHT up. But my second? He came out with this curly, frizzy 'fro. And I'm totally to blame for that one, because my mom passed it to me, from her own mother. Ugh.
It's so out of character for me to post a link to my blog but I've got to show you a picture of my "natural" hair (and it's even toned down a little, because, you know, everyone in the world could see it. Not that everyone in the world reads my stuff, but you know.)

Anyway - I commiserate!
Okay. That baby picture with the soft combed curls? I can smell his good baby smell just looking at the picture. And please tell me you know what I mean!! That soapy, sweet baby smell.... That's like my crack. I love that smell....
Dressed by a goat? LMAO!
Miss D. has the nappiest hair in the world, and controlling it is my most arduous task. I've threatened to scalp her, because she gives me so much guff about brushing it every morning.
And I agree with Kathy B.--the smell, the smell....
Those pictures were so classic. I have some pretty bad hair pictures myself.
Bed head is in now isn't it? lol

Sweet baby boys. They don't have bad hair days Momma. Ok, maybe that middle one is kinda bad, but it just looks like you tried to comb it to get it lay down.
And that Robert Pattinson guy (is that his name), blech. I just don't get it. Take a shower already.
I didn't see any really bad hair days there. :)
I love the bed head looks. Your dudes seem like they've got great hair.
I may have giggled just a little at this post. You look so cute in that first picture! Your boys all have great hair, even on their bad days.
Hi from a SITSta!
Hey Moxie girl!
I love their hair! What handsome boys!
i didn't just giggle.. i LAUGHED MY FREAKING ARSE OFF at that second pic.
But then again, I"m in for it from you when I finally do post my
afro mullet of 1987.
your boys are simply breaths of heaven.
You must get this alot: "OMG! Look at him! He's going to be a lday killer for sure! He's so cute! What until he grows up!"
And all you can think as you grit your teeth, I can WAIT, back off bitch.
Totally love the untamed look. If not, I'd be a hipocrite since I barely have time to brush my own hair!
i was totally paying attention until that last picture....mmmhhmmmmm
I love these photographs. I've come back to this post several times and it keeps making me smile. You have such a great sense of humor and your kids are so cute and I remember the days of green shorts...here's to hoping that Merry Go Round trend doesn't come back into style!
Wow! That is some amazing hair on the little one!
Happy Saturday SITS Sharefest!
I'm just glad I have hair!
